About Trap
From bush cat to bed buddy! Trap and his equally handsome brother, Trip, came into care when they were trapped from the bush as teenage kittens. Understandably, they were terrified of humans, but surprisingly that fear melted away very quickly with a whole lot of roast chicken! Turns out humans aren't all that scary and there's actually some benifits to having them around, who knew!
We weren't really eased into family life, more like thrown in the deep end without a floaty! Our foster house is very busy and very loud. So, so loud! It's actually made us pretty bomb proof though. There are 4 tiny humans who are always bossing us around, carrying us around or just plain smothering us with their love. A couple of big dogs who we quickly realised are also friends, and whilst obviously not as great as cats, they can be fun to tease! And then there's the resident cat who likes to boss us around! Whilst she wasn't overly welcoming when we entered her domain (the hissing and spitting did seem a little excessive !) she did provide us with lots of reassurance that life on the inside was actually rather nice for a cat. Since then we've watched a whole lot of tiny baby kittens come through the house and we absolutely adore them! We love showering them with affection and licking them clean after a messy feed. We're very cat social and it's really important that we go to a home with another cat, we're not too fussy though as long as they're up for some rough and tumble! We've always had each other so if you're offering us a home for both of us we would be beyond grateful to stay together after all we've been through, but mostly we just want a home of our own, so we're willing to part ways if that's what it takes.
Life might have started out a little rough, but we're accustomed to the good life now. Give us all the creature comforts, please! You know those cats that are ungrateful for anything you buy them and just ignore it to go and play in a box? Not us! Nope. We love it all! You wanna shower us with toys and fancy cat scratchers and cozy beds? You go right ahead with that, who are we to try and stop you? But on the downlow, if you do buy anything that comes in a box, we'd love to have a sneaky play in it before you recycle it. We love love love playing with toys! Or anything really, if we can swat it across the floor then games on! Our foster humans always stop to watch us and have a laugh, often joining in with us.
We've come such a long way in a short time and we're still figuring out our true personalities, but we know we're a little bit cheeky and a whole lot of fun and that's not going to change! We just love to be involved in what you're doing, whether that's folding the washing (we'll lay on it or knock it off the table), sending an email (we'll walk across the keyboard and jazz that email right up), or staying up late to make something for school (we'll be sure to make sure it's structurally sound by trying to knock everything off).
If you would like to meet Trap in person, simply send through an adoption application and we can arrange a meet and greet and let him do all the sweet talking.
