About Eevee
This beautiful little lady is Eevee and she's on the lookout for her new forever home.
We don't know much about her back story as gorgeous little Eevee was surrendered to a vet in Fitzroy to be rehomed. Luckily this particular vet are good friends of ours, so when this little lady arrived, they reached out to see if we could help. As luck would have it one of our amazing foster carers happened to live just around the corner so we're able to collect her quickly and get her into a comfortable home.
When Eevee first arrived she was understandably quite grumpy and there were a few hisses a growls. But with a bit of love and reassurance from her foster daddy she quickly settled in and her beautiful personality soon started to shine through.
After the initial annoyance at being uprooted from her home wore off, she has since become incredibly sweet and incredibly affectionate. She is always in the mood for a pat and a scratch and cannot wait for her foster daddy to sit down to that she can jump up on his lap and have a cuddle.
Eevee has quickly worked her way into his heart and he's hoping that she won't get adopted too quickly so that he can spend more time with her :)
If you're looking for a sweet, sassy and incredibly loving companion then Eevee may be just the cat for you.
We do not know what she is like with other animals or kids but we do know that she loves apartment living and loves being the center of attention. So a home with a young single or couple would probably be the way to go.
Eevee is approximately 4 years 9 months old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.

Adoption details
We try to make things very easy and straight forward while at the same time making sure we are matching the right cat to the right home.
The first step in the adoption process is a quick chat over the phone to make you are able meet the cats needs and your home is a good fit for the cats personality.
From there we will organize a meet and greet the cats foster home where you will be able to see the cat in action and get a gauge of their personality.
Once you have adopted you new furry feline friend we offer ongoing support and you are welcome to contact us anytime if you have questions, concerns or need advice.
We work hard to make sure that each cat is a good fit for their new home but in the unlikely even that things do not work out we have a 21 day cooling off period and you are more than welcome to return the cat to us during that time.
We will happily refund 50% of the adoption fee or you are welcome to donate this refund to assist with the ongoing cost of the animals care.
