Meet Nova, a stunning and playful young English Staffy x Nova.With her sleek, shiny black coat and charming white front sock paws, Nova is sure to capture the hearts of anyone who meets her. Her gentle nature and sweet personality make her an ideal companion for families looking to add a loving pet to their household. Nova is a delightful little girl and weighing in at just 16 kilos we feel she will be a med size girl at full growth.
Nova has a friendly disposition and is generally well-behaved around people. When someone new enters the house, she may bark initially, but she quickly calms down and soon seeks out pats and hugs. Nova absolutely adores cuddles and snuggles from her human family members.
She has thrived in a family environment and greets everyone with excitement, whether they have been gone for just 15 minutes or several hours.
Nova loves to be in the company of her humans and often follows them around the house, eager to be part of their daily activities. Nova is currently living in a home with high school aged kids and adores them
Favourite Things Nova has a playful spirit and enjoys engaging in various activities. She loves playing and roughhousing with the resident dog, often indulging in zoomies and games of chase.
Treats are a big hit with Nova, especially hooves, which she finds particularly delightful.
Soft toys and squeaky things are also among her favorite playthings. Above all, Nova cherishes spending quality time with her human family members.

During her time in foster care, Nova has made remarkable progress in learning basic commands and obedience. She started from scratch, mastering skills such as walking on a lead, wearing a collar, and responding to commands like “sit” and “on your mat.”
Nova is currently learning to be “gentle” when taking treats from her foster family, and her quick learning ability is greatly aided by her love for treats.
Nova is an affectionate and friendly pup who thrives on attention, cuddles, and affection. She has never shown any aggression towards other dogs or humans, making her a wonderful companion for social interactions.
Nova is also learning to enjoy car rides, which she initially found unsettling. When she first arrived, she would whine in the car, but she has since become more settled and now jumps in and out of the car with ease.
Nova has adapted well to her routine in foster care. She has had a shower and tolerated it without any issues. Her feeding schedule consists of two meals a day: dry kibble in the morning and a mixture of kibble, high quality roll, and chicken at night. Nova eagerly awaits her dinner in the kitchen at 6 p.m.
Since joining her foster family, she has been sleeping on a dog bed next to her foster mom’s bed. While she sometimes sleeps through the night, there are occasions when she wakes up and needs to be taken outside for toileting. However, she quickly settles back on her bed afterward. Impressively, Nova has not had any toileting accidents inside since day one, although ongoing toileting training will be necessary in her forever home.
Inside the Home Nova has demonstrated no destructive behaviors, either inside or outside the house. She will need mental and physical stimulation if left alone, especially if she is the only dog in the household.
Nova loves playing with toys indoors and enjoys cuddling with her humans at night, winding down after a busy day of walking, playing, and running around. She is a delightful companion who will bring joy and love to any home lucky enough to welcome her into their family.

No apartment living, Nova loves her zoomies so need a bit of space in her back yard
