About Kobi
Kobi is a 3 year 9 month old Jack Russell with a huge personality and an even bigger love for his people. He’s a loyal little shadow who likes to be wherever his family is — whether that’s following you around the house or curled up next to you on the couch for a snuggle.
Like many terriers, Kobi is full of energy and loves a good game. Chasing tennis balls is one of his favourite activities (although returning them is optional in his opinion), and he’s surprisingly good at kicking around a soccer ball. Squeaky toys are also a big hit in Kobi’s world. He enjoys getting out for adventures too and is always keen for beach trips or a good hike where he can burn off some energy.
Kobi can be a little nervous in new environments or when meeting unfamiliar people, and he tends to show this by barking. On walks he can sometimes be reactive on lead and would benefit from continued training and guidance from an owner who understands terriers and is willing to work with him. He’s also known to be a bit stubborn at times — especially if you try a new walking route — but he’s very food motivated, which definitely helps when it comes to training.
Once he’s had a chance to burn off some energy, Kobi is generally relaxed around other dogs and could benefit from living with a calm canine companion. He has previously lived in a busy household with three young children and has been an inside/outside dog.
At night, Kobi sleeps indoors and has been crate-trained. He would happily sleep on someone’s bed if given the chance. He is fully toilet-trained and travels well between different homes when being cared for by family members.
Kobi would thrive in a home with a secure yard and with an owner who enjoys getting out for regular exercise and adventures. He’s looking for someone patient and understanding who appreciates the quirky, spirited nature of terriers and can give him the structure and reassurance he needs.
Kobi is an incredibly loyal, entertaining and affectionate companion.
