About Bluey - 7 Week Old Cattle Dog X Kelpie
🐾Wackadoo - Meet Bluey🐾
Sweet and cuddly with a little bit of mischief – Bluey is a cuddly ball of sunshine with one of a kind Blue Healer markings, and a tail that never stops wagging!
💜 Friendly & Fun:
Bluey is a social butterfly who adores making new friends – both human and canine! Whether she’s romping around the garden, playing tug-o-war, or wrestling with her foster siblings, she’s always up for a good time.
💡 Smart & Eager to Learn:
This clever cookie is making great progress with her toilet training and picking up basic commands like sit, come when called - especially when treats are on the line! Being both Cattle Dog and Kelpie, she has the makings of a very intelligent pup!
⚽️ Curious & Active:
Lots of family time, activities, and your new running buddy will be on the cards for this lil pup as she grows. Bluey needs a family that is committed to training, enrichment and adventures is a must for this lil go getter!
🛌 Nap Queen & Cuddle Bug:
When playtime is over, Bluey happily curls up in your lap or her crate – her cozy, secure little sanctuary. She’s crate-trained at night and sleeps indoors, close to her people, where she feels safe and warm.
✨ Bursting with Personality:
Bluey is equal parts joy, sass, and cuddle bug. From playing tug and chewing her favorite toys, to snuggling up for quiet moments, she’s guaranteed to steal your heart and light up your home.
Bluey is waiting to melt your heart and complete your family 💜 Due to her age, she will not be ready for her new home until 16/3/26.
Bluey is a healthy little puppy who is being fostered in a home environment. She has been well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and medium) and gets along well with them all, although can be a little excited at first. She's met lots of people, including older children and is friendly and affectionate with them.
Bluey will grow up to be a medium sized dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly and patient adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Bluey. If you don't have another dog to keep her company, then there should be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.
Bluey needs to be welcomed inside when people are home, and to sleep inside. She will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Bluey’s adoption fee is $800 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Bluey is in foster care in Bolwarra, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 5 to 6 months old.
