About Dorothy-Anne
Hi everyone! My name is Dorothy-Anne, and I'm a 7-week-old puppy at the very beginning of my big adventure in life 🐾
Right now I'm small, wiggly, curious, and learning about the world one day at a time. Everything is new to me, sounds, people, toys, routines, and even where the best napping spots are! I'm cute (very cute, if I may say so myself), but my future family should know that raising a puppy is a big commitment.
Over the next year of my life, I'll be learning all the important things that help me grow into a happy, well-mannered adult dog. That means I'll need patient humans who can help me with toilet training, learning house manners, walking nicely on a lead, and understanding what I'm allowed to chew (hint: hopefully not your shoes!).
I'll also need lots of ongoing training and positive guidance while I grow. Puppies learn best when their people are consistent, patient, and willing to put the time into helping us succeed. Puppy classes, socialisation, and gentle training will all help me build confidence and good habits.
Because I'm still so young, I'll need lots of supervision, structure, and routine. There may be a few accidents while I'm learning, and sometimes I might test boundaries - but with the right guidance I'll grow into a wonderful companion.
The good news? All that work comes with some pretty amazing rewards. I promise there will also be puppy cuddles, silly zoomies, and plenty of joyful moments as we learn and grow together.
If you're ready for the time, patience, and commitment that comes with raising a puppy, I'd love to find a family who will guide me through my first year and beyond.
