About Evie
🐾 Meet Evie – A Gentle Soul with a Heart of Gold 🐾
Name of Cat: Evie
Microchip number: 900164002366541
Breed: Russian Blue
Colour: Grey / Blue
Gender: Female
Age: ~12 - 18 months
Foster Carer Suburb: Leppington, Sydney
Evie came into our care heavily pregnant and gave birth to just one precious baby – a very rare occurrence. She did an incredible job raising her little one, and now that her mum duties are done, it’s finally Evie’s turn to be loved and spoiled. 🤍
Evie is a beautiful Russian Blue girl with the softest nature and the sweetest personality. She may be a little reserved when you first meet her, but give her time to feel safe and settled and you’ll see her true colours shine through.
Once comfortable, Evie becomes affectionate, playful and incredibly loving. She enjoys quiet cuddles, gentle pats and simply being near her people. She’s not demanding, but her calm presence is incredibly comforting — the kind of companion who makes a house feel like home.
Evie would thrive in a peaceful environment, ideally as an only cat or with one or two respectful feline friends. Busy, noisy households aren’t her style, but in a calm space she truly blossoms into a devoted little companion.
Evie’s Favourite Things:
• Quiet cuddle sessions
• Gentle pats and chin scratches
• Relaxing in cozy spots
• Soft playtime once she feels confident
• Being close to her humans
Evie’s Ideal Home:
• Calm, quiet household
• Adults or gentle older children
• No dogs
• Ideally the only cat, or with 1–2 calm companions
• Someone patient who understands shy kitties bloom with time
🤍 After giving everything to her baby, Evie is ready for a forever home where she can finally be the centre of attention. If you’re searching for a soft-natured, loving companion, Evie could be your perfect match. 🐾💙

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
