About Fern
Meet Fern — a gentle little soul ready to bloom in a loving home. 🤍
Fern is a striking white and charcoal beauty with the softest fur and an even softer heart. When she first arrives she may be a little shy, quietly taking in her new surroundings — but give her a little patience and kindness, and you’ll quickly see her true personality blossom. In her foster home it took less than 24 hours before she was rolling onto her back, proudly showing her belly and asking for pats.
Once she feels safe, Fern becomes the sweetest little companion. She’ll greet you with the most adorable chirps, trills, and tiny squeaks, as if she’s telling you all about her day. She absolutely loves her food (not fussy at all!) and her favourite activity is flopping onto her back to soak up every bit of affection she can get.
Fern also gets along well with other gentle cats, so she could happily share her home with a calm feline friend.
This beautiful girl came from a very sad hoarding situation where she survived on scraps like bread. Despite such a rough start, Fern has shown just how resilient and loving she is. With proper care, good food, and a warm foster home, she has completely blossomed into the affectionate, trusting young cat she was always meant to be.
Because she is a sensitive sweetheart, Fern would do best in a quieter home where she can begin in her own safe room and slowly explore the rest of her new kingdom at her own pace.
If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who will reward your kindness with belly flops, sweet little conversations, and endless affection, Fern may just be the perfect addition to your family.
All she needs now is someone to give her the happy ending she truly deserves. 🐾

Meet Fern — a gentle little soul ready to bloom in a loving home. 🤍
Fern is a striking white and charcoal beauty with the softest fur and an even softer heart. When she first arrives, she might seem a little shy, quietly absorbing her new surroundings, but if you offer her patience and kindness, you'll soon witness her charming personality emerge. Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
