✨ Ripley – A Gentle Soul Looking for Her Safe Place ✨

Ripley is a truly special young Australian Cattle Dog with the softest soul and the sweetest, quiet nature. She has a beautifully balanced temperament — gentle, kind, and deeply sensitive — and she bonds with her people in the most heartfelt way.
Ripley forms strong connections with females first, and that is where she feels safest. Something in her past has left her fearful of men, but with patience, compassion, and time, she can learn to trust them. Because of this, Ripley is best suited to a female-only home or a calm, patient couple, with no children, where she can feel secure and understood.

She is still building her confidence, so a quiet home environment is ideal. New places and busy areas can overwhelm her, especially on walks. In peaceful streets, and at night she walks beautifully on lead and even enjoys a little jog. But if something startles her, she may quickly try to retreat home — she is fast and determined — so she needs someone physically strong and attentive to keep her safe in those moments.

True to her breed, Ripley is athletic and built to move. She loves having space to stretch her legs and she has an impressive vertical jump — she can clear 1.8 metres with ease — so secure fencing higher than 1.8m is essential.

Ripley is wonderfully dog friendly with all sizes and is also cat friendly. She currently lives happily with two small Moodles (7–10 kg). She is fully toilet trained and enjoys having free access indoors and outdoors. At night, she sleeps soundly in her crate.
She loves her food, her treats, and especially a good soup bone to chew on. Most importantly, Ripley is not an outside only dog. She needs to be welcomed indoors as part of the family. She thrives on closeness, reassurance, and being included in the daily rhythm of the home. She bonds deeply with the women in her life and wants to feel safe, connected, and cherished.

Ripley is a gentle, sensitive girl who will give her whole heart to the right home — one that understands her, protects her, and lets her blossom at her own pace.

Ripley is in foster care in Cameron Park, NSW, and is not available for interstate adoption. Her adoption fee is $600. She is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas, worms and ticks.
