About Lola
Lola is a striking young girl with a big heart and plenty of energy for life. While she can be a little unsure when meeting new people, it doesn't take long before her playful and affectionate personality shines through. Once she feels comfortable, Lola loves spending time with her people and enjoys plenty of pats and close company.
This clever girl is very food-motivated which makes her a great candidate for continued reward-based training. She's eager to learn and will thrive with adopters who enjoy teaching their dog new skills and helping them build confidence.
Lola is an active dog who enjoys getting out and about. She'll benefit from regular walks, enrichment activities, and fun games that keep both her mind and body busy. Water play and digging are particular favourites, and she'll be happiest in a home that can offer her plenty of outlets for her energy.
Because she hasn't had a lot of experience with the big wide world yet, Lola will do best with a patient family of older teens or adults who can introduce her to new people, places and experiences at her own pace. With positive guidance and a predictable routine, she has all the potential to grow into a confident and well-rounded companion.
Lola is not suited to a home with cats or small animals. She may be able to live with another dog, but any potential adopters would need to be experienced dog owners who are confident in managing a multi-dog household. Careful separation and management of resources such as food, toys, and resting areas will be important to help set everyone up for success.
If you're looking for an affectionate, lively dog to join you on life's adventures and you're excited about continuing her training journey, Lola may be the perfect match for you. She's ready to find a supportive home where she can build her confidence and share lots of love along the way. 🐾💛
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
