Snickers

Hello... I'm Snickers.

My story is a bit of a mystery, even to me. I arrived here as a stray, and although the humans waited and hoped that someone might come looking, no one ever did. So it seems my past is a quiet little secret that I've carried with me. What we do know is that I'm about four years old, I'm a lovely tabby girl, and I'm ready to start a brand-new chapter.

They call me Snickers, which I think is quite a fitting name. Like the chocolate bar, I might seem a little mysterious on the outside at first but once you get to know me, there's a whole lot of sweetness waiting underneath. I'm still showing everyone here little pieces of my personality day by day, and it turns out I'm quite fond of gentle company and a calm place to call my own.

Because my past is a bit of an unknown, I can sometimes take a moment to figure things out. New spaces, new people, new routines, I just like to take them in properly before deciding they're wonderful. But once I feel comfortable, I settle in nicely and enjoy being part of the world around me.

At four years old, I'm past the wild kitten phase and have grown into a lovely, mature lady. I appreciate the simple things: a cosy bed, a sunny window, a quiet chat with my humans, and a home where I can feel safe and loved.

My life before may be a mystery, but my future doesn't have to be. I'm hoping there's someone out there who doesn't mind that I'm a bit of an unsolved story someone who's happy to write the next chapters with me.
