About Maybe Mort?
🐱 Meet Maybe Mort - Your New Tiny Best Friend!
Maybe Mort is a gorgeous 6‑month‑old torbie kitten with a sparkly personality and a heart full of love.
She is:
✨ Toilet trained
✨ Vaccinated
✨ Up to date with parasite prevention
Maybe Mort is incredibly affectionate and always ready for cuddles. When she's not snuggling, she's unleashing her adorable playful energy-zooming around, chasing toys, and inventing her own games.
She's also wonderfully kid‑approved and feline‑friendly, making her a total delight in busy, happy households. Whether it's a gentle child wanting a snuggle buddy or another cat looking for a playmate, Maybe Mort fits right in and brings joy wherever she goes.
If you're dreaming of a sweet, sociable, and endlessly entertaining companion, Maybe Mort might just be the perfect addition to your family. 💛
To book a meet and greet with Maybe Mort please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
