About Apricot 🧡
🧡🐾 Our Tiny Ginger Social Butterfly! 🐾🧡
Apricot and his three siblings were rescued just in the nick of time before heavy rains in Sydney were to smash down. After sadly losing their mum, they were found living in a drain, and there was no way we could leave them there to be washed away. Thanks to some wonderful humans, they were safely trapped and brought into our care. Now this little man is living his best indoor life and Apricot is ready to find his forever family. 🏡✨
This gorgeous little ginger boy does not simply enter a room, he makes an entrance. The moment you see him, you will hear his tiny motor running with the loudest purr, followed quickly by affectionate head bumps and requests for attention and he will chat away giving a big Hello!🥹🐱
Apricot is the definition of a people loving kitten. He adores being around his humans, giving kisses, face boops and following you around like a tiny shadow. If you sit down, expect him to appear beside you within seconds ready for cuddles. 💛
He is also a playful little explorer who loves climbing to the very top of his cat tree to survey his kingdom before zooming off for his next adventure. 🌟🐾 Apricot is ready to bring purrs, affection and endless entertainment into a lucky home.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
