About Shay
Meet Shay, a gentle-hearted adult girl who is gradually stepping out of her shell and discovering the comforting rhythm of life in a loving home. Although she started her journey quite unsure, Shay's curious spirit is beginning to emerge day by day. She is learning to trust, happily accepting treats from your hand and even finding the confidence to follow you around the yard once she feels safe and comfortable.
Shay's quiet and timid nature hides a cheeky streak that delights her foster family as she begins to relax and let her true self shine. Her nights are peaceful, as she has settled into a good sleep routine, providing her the rest she needs to greet each new day with growing curiosity. While she is still acclimatizing to the basics of home life and working on her toilet training, Shay is eager to learn and respond to love and care.
For Shay to truly flourish, she needs a calm and loving household with patient and understanding adopters who will give her the time and space she needs to adjust and build her confidence. A home with adults only and a secure yard with a fixed outdoor shady area would be ideal for her exploratory nature. While not tested with cats, she would benefit from the companionship of another gentle, similarly-sized dog who can help guide and encourage her.
Shay has been spending her days with Blacky, her foster sibling, but she is also open to finding a new family independently, as long as the environment supports her growth and comfort. If you feel ready to shower Shay with the love and patience she deserves, apply now to offer this sweet girl a welcoming home where her timid spirit can blossom into confidence.

Due to an anticipated high volume of applications, the adoption process is outlined below:
1. You must complete our Adoption Application Form by following the link to our website: https://www.all4pawsdogrescue.com.au/forms.html NOT THE PET RESCUE ENQUIRY BUTTON;
2. Include as much information as possible and it is never a case of "first in best dressed" when we are choosing the most appropriate new home. Matching an animal with a family is based on lifestyle, family members, attitudes to pet ownership and the personality of the pet;
3. Due to the number of applications we receive, all correspondence is through email and if your application is short listed, we will either call you to discuss it further and possibly invite you to a meet and greet.
