I’m Jemima 💛 So lovely to meet you!

I’m a 5‑month‑old Border Collie cross, weighing 11.5 kg, and I’m looking for my forever home.

I can be a little shy when we first meet — new people and big personalities can make me pause — but give me a little patience and I’ll warm up beautifully. Once I feel safe, I’m affectionate, gentle, and love being close to my humans.

I’m a clever girl (it’s the Border Collie in me!) and I learn quickly. I’m already toilet trained and doing really well with my lead walking — I just need someone to keep guiding me as I grow. I must be allowed inside and sleep inside of a night time.

I get along well with other dogs, especially those who are calm and respectful. If a dog is too overbearing, I can be a bit timid, so I’d thrive with a well‑mannered canine companion or gentle introductions. I am untested with cats and young children.

Her adoption fee is $700 which includes desexing and vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas, ticks and worms, and is microchipped.

She is in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing by 6 months old.
