Meet Darcy 🍂 – a quiet soul looking for safety and patience!
Darcy is a ten-month-old kitten with the softest heart and the most thoughtful eyes. Found roaming the streets, Darcy is a gentle little soul who takes time to feel safe in the world around them.
Darcy is incredibly cat-social and truly blossoms when surrounded by other feline friends. Darcy must live with another friendly cat and would be very happy in a multi-cat household where they can take comfort in watching confident cats lead the way.
Right now, Darcy is still learning that humans can be kind and predictable. This isn’t a bold, outgoing kitten — instead, Darcy is the type who will quietly observe from a safe spot, slowly building trust at their own pace. With patience, routine, and a calm environment, Darcy has all the potential to grow into a loving companion who feels secure and confident in their home.
Darcy would be best suited to an experienced, understanding adopter who can offer time, space, and empathy — someone who believes the most rewarding bonds are the ones you earn gently.

Adoption details
Call Queanbeyan Council on 1300 735 025 to be transferred through to an Animal care Officer that works at the facility. The animal care officer will take your details, send you an application form and if suitable make contact to book in a meet and greet at the facility with the desired pet.
Adoption fee cost:
When you purchase the animal they will either be desexed or the cost of desexing will be included in the fee. You will receive a voucher to take to a local vet to have the animal operated on. All animals adopted from our animal management facility receive free lifetime registration in NSW.
