About Dozer! 🐻
Meet Dozer – Your Pocket-Sized Staffy with a Heart of Gold 🐾
At just 1 year old, Dozer is the perfect mix of playful adventure buddy and couch-loving companion. Weighing 28kg, he may sound big on paper, but he’s actually knee-height, low to the ground, and wonderfully stocky—more like a chunky teddy bear than a tall dog. With his soft coat and constant Staffy smile, he’s impossible not to fall in love with.
The best part? Dozer has already done all his growing, so what you see now is exactly what you get—his perfect, compact build won’t be getting any bigger.
Personality
Dozer has all the classic Staffy traits people adore:
Loyal and people-focused
Loves being with his humans
Big smiler with a goofy, affectionate personality
House and toilet trained already
He enjoys his couch potato moments, happily relaxing by your side, but he’s also keen for adventures when it’s time to head out. Whether it’s a walk, a drive, or exploring somewhere new, Dozer is always ready to tag along.
Living With Others
Dozer has had some great life experience already:
Has lived with cats before – the cat was very dog-savvy, as Dozer does enjoy play.
Has lived with a female Staffy previously.
Has also lived with kids and enjoys people of all ages.
If you already have a dog at home, we require:
A meet and greet at the pound first
Any resident dog must be a friendly, desexed female
Some dogs can be selective with their friends, so we always ensure the match is right for everyone. He has also been fine meeting a young male Kelpie at the pound, but we will still follow our standard introduction process.
Home Life
Dozer could suit a home:
As an only dog, with plenty of enrichment and attention
With the right female dog companion
He is not an escape artist, loves people, and will thrive in a structured home with routine. Being only one year old, he still has plenty of learning and growing ahead of him, and in the right home he will absolutely blossom into an incredible companion.
Adoption Fee – $450
This includes:
Desexing
First vaccination
Flea and worm treatment (single dose)
Microchip
NSW registration
Why Dozer Needs You?
Staffies are some of the most loving, loyal dogs you’ll ever meet, but sadly they are often overlooked in pounds. Dozer is the complete package—short, stocky, ridiculously cute, and full of love. His teddy-bear looks and happy grin make him truly special.
If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will stick by your side, share the couch, and join you on life’s adventures, Dozer might just be your perfect match.
Apply to meet Dozer today – he’s ready to find his forever home. 🐶💛
