Horton

It’s so lovely to meet you! My name is Horton, and I came into care with Pawprint Foundation Ltd alongside my siblings after we were surrendered to the pound. We were simply too small for the pound to provide the care we needed, so PPF kindly stepped in and welcomed us with open arms.

Out of all my siblings, I’m the more reserved one. I may be a little shy when we first meet, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like you — I just need a little time to feel safe and understand that I’m going to be loved. But I’m gaining my confidence every day. I do settle quickly… and sometimes my purr engine even starts rumbling away once I realise everything is okay.

When it comes to playtime though, I’m just like any other happy, playful kitten! I love to run, wrestle, and chase around with my siblings. Having kitten friends really brings out my confidence and fun side.

I’m also an excellent eater and not fussy at all. I happily eat everything my foster mumma offers me, and I’m very content sharing mealtimes with the other kittens — sharing is caring, after all!

I have impeccable litter habits and consistently use the litter tray without any issues. Whether it’s in the foster room or one of the larger trays in the house, I’m always tidy and reliable.

Because of my gentle and slightly shy nature, my foster mumma believes I would thrive in a home with another kitten or friendly, playful cat. Having a buddy helps build my confidence and keeps me happy and enriched. Even if my new family were home often, a feline friend would make a big difference for me. If you already have a welcoming kitty at home, that could be a beautiful match. Or perhaps you might consider adopting me alongside one of my friends — that would truly be purrfect.
