Hi. I’m Nyår – yes, like “New Year,” because I’m the little firework that kicked off 2026 in style!

Let me tell you my story…

Nature
I flew all the way down to sunny Perth with a tiny secret… I was pregnant! And on New Year’s Day, while everyone else was making resolutions, I was busy bringing new life into the world. That’s right. I welcomed my babies on January 1st. Talk about starting the year with a bang!

The funny thing? I’m only a baby myself. Still young, still playful, still figuring out the world — but somehow I’ve already been the most devoted little mama. Now that my kittens are growing up, it’s finally my turn to be someone’s baby.

If confidence were confetti, I’d be covered in it. I strut into rooms like I own them. New people? Love them. Visitors? My favourite. I’m the first to say hello, the first to ask for pats, and the last to leave your lap. I’m outrageously smoochy — the kind of cat who leans into your hand, gives head boops, and purrs like it’s my full-time job.

I adore people. Truly. Pats, cuddles, chin scratches, shoulder snuggles — I’m here for all of it. If you’re sitting down, I’m climbing up. If you’re lying down, I’m curling in. If you’re standing… well, I’ll wind around your legs until you get the hint. I promise to bring sparkle, snuggles, and a whole lot of heart into your life.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I live with a young baby and get along with her great, so kids would be no problem.

I live with numerous other cats, dogs, puppies, you name it... we have it! I would much prefer to be your only furry friend in the home, but I could also live with a cat or two, and maybe a calm, cat-savvy dog with slow intros!

My PURR-fect home would be a quiet home with human to love and spoil me. I would love an indoor only home where I am your only furry companion, or to share the home with just one or two friends.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
