About Muppet
Muppet is a delightful 8 month old Daschund mix possibly with a small kelpie
She came to rescue from a pound after being found following children to school
She loves all people and is happiest when near them.
Her daschund genes give her short legs and a long body , but her kelpie genes allow her to access tops of lounges with ease
Muppet is very quiet , unlike most Daschunds , and gets along beautifully with the other small dogs in foster but needs to excercise her teeth on a few soft items occasionally, but is happy to sleep in her crate at night and doesn’t stress if left outside with a bone for a while.She uses the dog door through the day and walks happily on a lead
With love and training and a home with a good friend she will become a much loved part of anyones family
Muppet loves children and is gentle but is still a puppy, she has no issues with food guarding . However chickens are too much fun for her and she does chase them so cats may also be too inviting
We would love her to have a small friendly dog as a companion , she still needs work with her recall , so needs to be on leash until she’s mastered that . Also fences need to be standard timber or colour bond not mesh
Muppet weighs about 7 kilos and has a very silky medium length coat that will require a brush and occasional bath

We require an initial application and then if a dog seems a match we can arrange a meet and greet at a local park or the foster carers home. If the meet is successful we then arrange a yard check and if that is satisfactory we require full payment on picking up the dog.
We then give a 2 week trial and if in that time it is not working we will refund all but $50 for admin costs. We also require that the adopter returns our dogs back to us at any time in its lifetime (without a refund) for us to rehome.
