About Zuko

(Mastiff x, approx. 10 months old)
Zuko has unfortunately had to move into temporary boarding due to a shortage of active foster carers, but he hasn’t let that slow him down. With the help of an incredible volunteer trainer working with him every day, he is learning so much and making fantastic progress.
Zuko is a big-hearted boy with classic “giant puppy energy”.
He absolutely loves people and wants to be part of everything you’re doing. This is not a backyard dog, he’s looking for a home where he can be included, exercised, and truly part of the family.
He’s responding really well to structure and guidance, with strong improvements in his manners and obedience.
He’s learning to sit and wait at thresholds, has developed a solid sit, down and stay, and is becoming much more controlled with his excitement.
Zuko is smart, eager, and full of potential. He will need an owner committed to continuing his training and providing consistency and leadership.
He would be best suited as the only dog in the home so he can stay focused and continue building on everything he’s learning.

Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.

2️⃣ Our team will review your application
3️⃣ Meet & greet organised for suitable applicants
4️⃣ Adoption finalised once the right match is confirmed
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
