Lilo & Mr Roy – A Bonded Senior Pair Looking for a Soft Place to Land
After spending over 12 years in a loving home, Lilo and Mr Roy have recently found themselves at the pound through no fault of their own. Their owners had to relocate long distance and sadly couldn’t take them along. For two cats who have always known the comfort of a home and family, the shelter environment has been a confusing and overwhelming change. Through it all, the one thing that keeps them steady is each other.
These beautiful bonded senior companions must be adopted together, as they find comfort and reassurance in their lifelong friendship.
Lilo is a lovely black female (13 years old) and the more confident of the two. Even though she’s the smaller one, she’s the brave little leader who helps Mr Roy feel safe. She’s calm, affectionate, and enjoys keeping a gentle watch over her best friend.
Mr Roy, the adorable chubby tabby & white gentleman (12 years old), is a little more shy when meeting new people. He may take a bit longer to warm up, but once he feels safe his gentle nature shines through. He’s a sweet soul who adores food, soft places to lounge, and the quiet company of those he trusts.
Despite their age, both cats are healthy, mobile, and still enjoy life’s simple pleasures — good meals, cozy naps, and peaceful companionship. They’re not demanding or high-energy, just two kind-hearted cats who would thrive in a quiet, relaxed home where they can spend their golden years feeling safe and loved.
Everyone seems to want kittens, but please don’t overlook this beautiful senior pair. They still have so much love to give, and in return they’ll bring warmth, companionship, and calm to the lucky home that welcomes them.
