Yes, my racing name was Batman Returns… pretty cool, right?
But these days I’ve hung up my racing cape and I’m searching for something much more important…

My forever family.

I’m a big, handsome boy who has only just arrived in this strange new world full of couches, toys, and backyard zoomies. It’s all a bit new to me, so I can be a little unsure at first while I figure things out — but the humans say I’m a really lovely boy who will blossom with a bit of time and patience.

RUNNING! 🏃‍♂️💨

Oh wow, do I love to stretch these long legs! Give me a safe yard or somewhere to zoom and I’m in heaven. Because of this, I’d love an active family who enjoy getting outside and having fun.

Playtime!

I LOVE to play… sometimes a bit enthusiastically! Because I’m a big boy who can get a bit rough and silly during play, I’d be best suited to a home with older kids who won’t get knocked over during my zoomie moments.

I’ve met other dogs and I’m learning my manners nicely. At first I got a little excited (everything was new!), but I’m already doing calm, polite on-lead meet and greets like a good boy.

There are just a couple of things I should mention…
🐾 No cats or chickens please — they’re just a bit too exciting for me.

Sadly, black dogs like me often get overlooked, which seems very unfair if you ask me… because I think my shiny black coat is pretty handsome.

So I’m really hoping someone sees my face and thinks:

"That’s my dog." 🐾
