Yes… my racing name was Batman Returns — pretty impressive, right?
These days I’ve retired from the track and I’m on the lookout for something far more important…
My forever home. 🏡

I’m a handsome black boy who is only just learning what life outside of racing is all about. Couches, toys, backyard zoomies… it’s all pretty exciting and a little overwhelming at first. Because of this, I can be a bit unsure in new situations, but I’m a gentle, lovely boy who is already starting to blossom with a little patience and reassurance.

Now… let me tell you about the things that make my tail wag the most…
Zoomies! 🏃‍♂️💨

Oh wow, I LOVE to run. Give me a safe yard where I can stretch these long legs and I’m one happy boy. Because I enjoy burning off some energy, I’d love a family who enjoy getting outdoors and having some fun with me.

Playtime! 🎾
I really enjoy playing… sometimes a bit enthusiastically! I’m a big boy and can get a little silly during play, so I’d be best suited to a home with older kids who won’t mind my goofy, zoomie moments.

Other Dogs 🐕
I’ve met other dogs and I’m learning my manners nicely. At first I was a bit excited (everything is new!), but I now live with a few dogs without any issues at all.
🐾 No cats or chickens though please — they’re still just a bit too tempting for me.

Sadly, black dogs like me often get overlooked… which seems very unfair because I think my shiny black coat is pretty handsome.

I’m really hoping someone sees me and thinks…
