A 30kg lady — affectionate and full of personality, she is not only beautiful to behold but also a joy to be with daily. With a rich black-rust coat, her confident stance carries her like a queen, yet she melts at your side for cuddles once she trusts you. Ms A is a pedigree working-line lady with IGP training; she has a stable nerve, an excellent response to her handler, and is wonderful and devoted to her humans both at home and around the neighbourhood, with a delightful personality.
She's ready to retire from long training sessions but will still need the constancy of a home that can meet the level of interaction she requires as a semi-retired field-athlete.

Athena was bred from stable, healthy European working lines and is an intelligent pedigree lady with no known genetic or structural issues. She’s in excellent health and embodies the best traits of the Dobermann breed — intelligent, athletic, protective, and deeply loyal.

She’s a high-energy girl who loves adventures and walks but doesn’t enjoy town socialising much. She won't explore too far when off-leash, preferring a farm life where she can sleep inside and enjoy lazy days hanging out in the field or paddock to satisfy her energy levels, or be with well-versed humans who understand the needs of working-line ladies if in a suburban setting. Athena has spent her life with dogs and others, but as the rules go, dogs don't socialise here; we're looking for a home where she can be the only dog, enjoying the field where she can have all the attention this high-achiever would appreciate.

While Ms A doesn't need more training, she'll need to stay mentally and physically stimulated for her health and happiness. Our Dobermann.Club 3-Pillar Training System is part of her information, and training sessions with prospective homes will be essential before she considers her new lifestyle.

Ms A is a protective, steady-minded lady whose love is strong and present. With a touch of your hand, she'll lean into you with devotion — she will alert visitors with confident, deep barks but remains calm and composed. She’s not anxious or reactive. She will stand her ground, but your leadership and knowledge of local dogs will help her enjoy spaces that don't have other dogs in close proximity.

Ms A is unacquainted with dog parks, nor are most Dobermanns, who haven't been raised or taught their etiquette. We reserve the right to decline interested parties who insist on visiting dog parks. She lacks the skills to avoid being overwhelmed, so such environments should be avoided permanently.
