About Tilly
Hi, I’m Tilly.
My story is a little different to most dogs who find themselves in rescue. I haven’t come from neglect or hardship. I’ve never known cruelty, and I’ve always been deeply loved. I lived in the same home from the time I was just 8 weeks old, and I was truly someone’s whole world.
Very sadly, my beloved owner passed away, and overnight my life changed. I went to stay with a family member, but the resident pets just weren’t able to adjust to having me there. Through no fault of my own, I’ve now found myself starting again.
It’s a big adjustment for a little lady who has only ever known one home, but I’m doing my best to be brave. I absolutely adore my humans. I can be a little reserved when we first meet all these changes have been a lot to take in but it doesn’t take me long to show you who I really am. Once I’m comfortable, my cheeky, excitable and playful personality shines through.
I love other dogs and would really enjoy and benefit from having a doggy friend in my new home. I adore running, playing, and doing zoomies around the yard, so a canine companion to share that fun with would be wonderful. I’m social, friendly, and happiest when I have company and able to show off my skills and enthusiasm.
I’m going to need an energetic family who can keep up with my zoomies and my fun loving nature. I’m not a lap dog I’m far too busy for that! I absolutely love being with my humans. Whether you’re pottering around the house, heading out on adventures, or relaxing in the evening, I just want to be nearby and involved.
I would be perfect for the family who wants an energetic dog with loads of personality and character. I’ll make you laugh, keep you active, and fill your home with fun. I’m full of life, full of love, and ready to share it all with the right people.
I do have mild contact allergies (probably to grass), which sometimes makes me a little itchy especially at night. I’ve had an allergy injection before to help with the itching, and that worked well. I can have repeat doses if needed, but regular baths with nourishing shampoos and conditioners also help keep me comfortable.
Overall, my allergies are mild and very manageable they don’t stop me from being a happy, loving girl!
Love always,
Tilly 🩷
