Miss E von Dobermann is a truly stunning young dog.

A 30+kg lady — elegant, affectionate, and full of personality, she is not only beautiful to behold but also joyful to be with daily. With a rich rust-ember-brown coat, her confident stance carries her like a queen, yet she melts at your side for cuddles once she trusts you.

All rescue Dobermanns need time to warm up to new people, including those in and around your life. This tendency persists throughout their lives and is typical of the breed. They are loyal to their family members, meaning everyone they live with, not just one individual. This trait can be influenced by how they are treated or ignored at home. If one person truly loves them, Dobermanns will cling to that person.

Ember was bred from stable, healthy European lines with no known genetic or structural issues. She’s in excellent health and embodies the best traits of the Dobermann breed — intelligent, athletic, protective, and deeply loyal.

Ms E is currently with our founder and is enjoying daily life whilst learning better habits around food and attention.

She’s not a high-energy girl, but she loves adventures, walks, and socialising. She won't explore too far when off-leash, but as she's still searching for food, she appears to be constantly hungry, even though her body weight suggests otherwise.

She finds the big outside world intimidating and needs consistent, patient people who can offer her the time and repetition she needs to become confident and reveal her wonderful personality.

Confident handlers at home, who can continue our training programme to improve her recall response and maintain the 'You're Safe' reassurance for her, will help her thrive. Show her that she is truly safe under your leadership. She thrives in a home that understands Dobermanns of the show-line sub-type — if you enjoy structure, routine, and genuine companionship, then consider Ember a lovable contender for your heart.

While she is carrying too much weight, her sense of self and safety have been the priority. Her mental sharpness, responsiveness, ability to trust, and interactions with other Dobermanns in rescue have helped our handlers and her feel less destabilised after being surrendered.

Ms E currently lives in a home where she is completing her transition programme through the Dobermann.Club 3-Pillar Training System, which is very close to her adoption.

Ms E is a protective, stable-minded young dog — she will alert visitors with confident, deep barks but remains calm and balanced. She’s not anxious or reactive and loves playdates with other steady dogs. She won't accept dogs that are snippy or reactive. She will stand her ground, but your leadership and knowledge of local dogs will guide which dogs to approach or avoid.

Ms E is unacquainted with dog parks, nor are most Dobermanns who haven't been raised or taught their etiquette. We reserve the right to decline interested parties who insist on visiting dog parks. She lacks the skills to avoid being overwhelmed, so such environments should be avoided permanently.
