About Ruby
Ruby is looking for a special home with a family that understands one key thing about her: she is absolutely mad. We’ve had Ruby for quite a few months and still are confounded by her antics. She seems to thoroughly dislike us but there she is each morning, tail so happy it is arched back in on itself and meowing the house down. She doesn’t want to be touched but we turn around and she’s there, sitting on the chair across from us, perched in the window next to the desks, watching us from on top of the fridge. We have found she is much nicer when we bring out the creamy treats. Ruby recognizes the sound on us opening one from across the house and sashays on over like we’re best friends.
Ruby is otherwise like most young cats. She likes to play with her squishy toys and throw them about. She loves the company of other cats and would thrive with a kitty friend or two. Ruby may not be the most affectionate cat, but she is quirky and will bring a lot of joy to an understanding owner who enjoys her for who she is.
In terms of her health, Ruby has no concerns. She is desexed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations, worming and flea treatment. She is fully litter trained and eats wet or dry food (and creamy treats, those especially!). She currently lives with a dog who she is fine with and primary school aged children who recognise she likes her own space.
