About Slinky

If you’re looking for a very sweet kitty who simply loves being near his humans, Slinky might be the perfect match for you. He’s the kind of companion who enjoys your company in the gentlest way — sitting at your feet, laying on your shoes, or relaxing nearby while you go about your day.
While he may not always climb into your lap, Slinky absolutely enjoys a cuddle when offered. After a snuggle he’s just as happy wandering off to find a toy to play with or a cozy towel or mat to curl up on. Slinky is wonderfully relaxed around family life. He’s great with kids and isn’t easily startled by loud noises — even the vacuum cleaner doesn’t bother him!
He would likely enjoy a home with another pet, and if you happen to have room for two, his sister Rosa could be the perfect companion for him https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1177628. They get along beautifully and would love to stay together if possible.
Slinky loves simple comforts: sunny spots, soft towels, and peaceful naps. He and Rosa are happy to curl up on your bed for a daytime snooze, but they’re also perfectly content sleeping in a spare room overnight if you prefer your bed to yourself — especially if they have another pet friend for company.

MY IDEAL HOME: Slinky is perfect for pretty much most homes and is cat and kid socialised - A home with another friendly pet would be nice for company or even better my sister Rosa https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1177628! I like snuggling with my humans, but I'm also content to keep myself occupied with various towels, mats and kitty toys :).
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Medium kitten energy overall. Slinky loves to play with his sister Rosa for a rumble before napping to rest and recover. And REPEAT!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Great! Slinky currently lives with kids under 10.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Excellent, as long as careful introductions are made to any resident pets.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
