Meet Winston A Beautiful Shar Pei Looking for a Special Home
Winston, or “Winnie” as we call him, is a beautiful 3-year-old Shar Pei with a sweet and unique personality. He can be a little stand-offish when first meeting new people, but once he warms up he becomes incredibly loyal and loving.
Winnie is wonderful with children and absolutely loves other dogs, so he would likely enjoy having a doggy sibling in his new home.
He loves spending time outside wandering around the yard sniffing and exploring with his toys. Stuffed toys are his favourite — he loves carrying them around and bringing them to you to throw for him. Winnie is also quite cheeky and enjoys playing games like running away with your shoes or any unattended item he can find.
He is not fussy with food and will happily eat just about anything… including your food if it’s left unattended!
Like many Shar Pei, Winnie does experience some anxiety and currently takes medication which helps him. He would do best with a patient and understanding owner who can give him time to settle in.
Winnie is desexed, has previously had entropion eye surgery (common for the breed), and has no skin allergies, which is quite special for a Shar Pei.

Adoption details
* Once an interest is lodged on a dog, a member of the team will call the person and follow up within 24 hours of receiving.
* An adoption form is emailed to the applicant for completion once the initial call has quantified a fit for the said animal.
* Once the application is received back to PPAR with yard photos a meet for the animal is organised.
* If the meet is a success, Adoption is then activated with all relevant paperwork emailed including MC transfer / all vet work certificates (C5 / desex etc.)
* Team member will follow-up after the successful adoption to ensure all is going well
