About Panther
Panther is the sort of kitten who is friends with everyone. He runs up to new people when they come into the house to say hello. He loves humans and wants to be where the action is at all times. If he thinks he's being left out, he'll let you know about it!
He loves being around people so much that he'll even sit on the edge of the bath while his foster mum is having a bath. He's totally unfazed by the water.
He is a born hunter and carries his "prey" (toys) around in his mouth with extreme pride. He loves playtime and being given lots of pats.
He is wary of new cats and can take a few days to warm up to them. He was absolutely fine with the dog in his previous foster home. It was a big dog but this did not deter him from playing with its wagging tail.
He would love a home where there are people around a lot for him to hang out with. A busy house would be fine as family noise and chaos aren't likely to worry him. He's just happy to be where it's all happening!
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
