Meet Mackalicious – a sweet, gentle, snuggly 45kg cuddle bug.

Mackalicious is the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart. Soft-natured, affectionate, and wonderfully gentle, he loves people, enjoys the company of kids, and is happiest when he has someone – human or canine – by his side.

One thing Mackalicious would really love in his new home is a doggy companion. He absolutely adores other dogs and thrives when he has a buddy to hang out and play with. Whether he’s having a zoom around the garden or just relaxing nearby, Mackalicious is at his best with a friend.

He enjoys his walks and is good on lead, café-trained, and knows his basics like sit, drop, and recall. He’s also excellent with his toilet habits. At around 45kg, Mackalicious is a big boy, so his new family will need to be comfortable handling a large dog when out and about.

At home, Mackalicious is a professional couch enthusiast who can happily spend hours admiring the upholstery while keeping you company. He enjoys a gentle play with toys (and occasionally shoes if they’re left unattended), but he’s not a high-energy dog. His activity levels are moderate, and he especially enjoys a play session with his doggy mate in the yard.

Mackalicious travels well in the car or van, although he sometimes needs a little encouragement to hop in. He’s a sensitive soul who would do best in a reasonably calm home with a predictable routine.

Because he bonds closely with his companions, Mackalicious is looking for a home where he won’t be left alone for long periods. With a dog friend, plenty of cuddles, and a safe space to play, he settles beautifully and becomes an easy, loving presence in the home.
