About Funicular
*In foster care in Marrickville, Sydney*
Funicular (shortened to Nina or Nini in her foster home) is a lovely kitten - small and curious, quirky, soft and more snuggly every day!
Given time and patience, Nina's personality really shines, though she's still on her journey to full self-realisation :) After realising how pleasant they are, this sweet and purry girl *really* likes pats, and she also adores shoes, playtime, and the company of her bolder brothers, Cable Car and Gondola!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Funicular is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have a quiet, relaxed vibe, with plenty of spots for me to safely sleep, perch and recharge. I love playing (on my own terms), and I'm slowly coming around to the appeal of humans, but I also need my own space.
Thinking about adopting the purrfect pair? Going to my new home with one of my awesome brothers, Cable Car or Gondola, would definitely help me to settle in faster!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: If the options were 'wallflower' and 'life of the party', I'd definitely be the former! But I do like the odd zoom and chase with my toys, and I can't resist a good wrestle with my siblings too. Most of the time though, I enjoy watching games from the sidelines, hanging out with my favourite humans and getting pats.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm still getting used to being handled, but I'm learning quickly. (Turns out pats are pretty nice!) While humans can be intimidating, I have a feeling small ones wouldn't be so scary, as long as they're kind and gentle.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I adore my brothers, and though I've never met another pet I'm curious for sure! So if you've got a cat or dog already in residence, I'd love to meet them and see how we get along :)

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
