Indigo

*In foster care in Waterloo, Sydney*

Indigo is a gentle and loving little soul whose favourite place is curled up on a warm human lap! Sadly for Indie, her elderly carers had to surrender her when she hurt her leg. Indie is now completely healed and looking for a new family to love.

This beautiful girl has clearly always been a cherished companion. She’s a very quiet cat with the softest little meow and an almost silent purr :) Indie has the sweetest way of communicating with her humans - she’ll gently place a paw on your arm to let you know she’d love some pats. She absolutely adores affection and is happiest relaxing beside you or snoozing somewhere cosy nearby.

Indie's change in circumstances has understandably been a little confusing for her, but she’s a calm and adaptable lady who has settled nicely into foster care. She's a real star and she can't wait to find her next special person!

Like all Maggie’s pets, Indigo is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm very easy-going and would suit a home with a single person, a couple, or a family with children who respect my space. I won't mind if you work from the office, as long as we can snuggle together in the evenings (ideally with me keeping your lap warm!).

MY ENERGY LEVEL: Though I definitely enjoy quiet time and cosy naps, I also crave attention and being close to my humans. I like to play with wand toys but prioritise cuddles over playtime.

MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: A calm home with adults only, or with gentle children who understand that I’m a senior lady, will suit me best.

MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I've enjoyed having feline foster siblings, so I think I'd do well as either your one-and-only or an addition to your current cat family!

Dogs are a bit too energetic for me, unfortunately.
