About Toaster

As ragdoll as they come, Toaster has an amazing temperament - gentle, affectionate and all about the cuddles! He melts into your arms, or next to you on the couch. He's also never fussed or put up a fight - even for bath time!
This non-stop purr machine and certified potato loves finding a cosy nook to curl up in and will happily sleep all day if he gets the chance. Being groomed is yet another of his many favourite things - he'll even 'help' by guiding you to all the spots that need attention :)
Toaster is a beautiful cat and a perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal, snuggly, low-maintenance and very good-looking fluff ball!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Toaster is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Human company is an absolute must. I'm not demanding or a lap cat, but I crave closeness, and I'll do well in a home where someone is around most of the time.
My foster home is a relatively quiet, calm, open space, which seems to suit my relaxed personality. I definitely love cosy nooks and sunny spots for daytime naps!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: ... is basically 'potato'! Curling up and snoozing away for hours is my dream day. I do have my playful moments though, and sometimes get the urge to race down the hallway, gallop up and down the stairs or chase my tail.
I came into foster care with a broken pelvis, but the silver lining is your benchtops and tables will be safe - I've shown no signs of being a jumper (yet!).
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm generally comfortable around new people, so while I haven't met any children recently, they sound good in theory! We can always give it a try? If you're offering cuddles, pats and a few good scratches, I tend to just settle in and purr away.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Hard to say, as I haven't met any other pets while in foster care - but as above, I'm an easygoing kind of guy and open to making new friends!

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
