About Loui - 10 Week Old Staffy X
š¾ The Local Celebrity: Meet Loui (Autographs Available Upon Request)
Are you looking for a roommate who doesnāt pay rent but is exceptionally good at napping? Meet Loui, a 10-week-old Staffy cross who is currently overqualified for the position of "Best Boy."
At just over two months old, Loui has already mastered skills most humans struggle with. Heās cute, heās social, and heās ready to move into your heart (and probably your favorite chair).
Why Loui is the Ultimate Roommate:
The Sleep King: Unlike most puppies who treat 3:00 AM like a rave, Loui is a crate-training prodigy. He sleeps through the entire night in his crate. Yes, you read that rightāyou actually get to keep your REM cycle.
Professional Shadow: Do you ever feel lonely walking to the fridge? Loui is here to help. He loves being around people and will happily supervise all your household activities, from folding laundry to staring blankly into the pantry.
The Feline Diplomat: Loui is very curious about his kitty companions, but heās a total gentleman. Heās gentle with the cats, even if they aren't always quite as convinced about his "let's be best friends" mission yet.
Political Connections: Heās actually a bit of a local VIP. Loui is slightly famous after meeting a Member of Parliament for a quick photoshoot. He handled the paparazzi with grace and didn't even try to chew on any official legislation.
Seeking a "Big Brother/Sister": Loui is looking for a big doggie sibling to look up to. He needs a mentor to teach him important dog stuff, like how to properly judge the mailman or the most efficient way to beg for a crust of toast.
Is Your House Loui-Compatible? Loui is looking for a "forever" gig with a family that appreciates a high-quality snuggle and a puppy who thinks heās a lap dog (and will continue to think so when heās 25kg). If you have a resident dog who needs a sidekick and maybe a cat who needs a fan, Loui is ready to apply.
Warning: Adopting Loui may result in extreme happiness, a camera roll full of puppy photos, and never being able to eat a snack alone again.
Puppy pre-school and ongoing training are essential to ensure Loui grows into a polished gentleman.
Loui needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. He will be a wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Loui's adoption fee is $800 which includes his desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
He is in foster care in Kulnura, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he's 5 to 6 months old.
