About G
At just 7 months old, G has already beaten the odds.
This handsome American Bulldog x English Staffy came into care alongside his three siblings, and within days they were all fighting for their lives against the deadly parvovirus -but G is a fighter. He survived. They all did. And now every single one of his siblings has found their forever family…
Leaving our sweet boy G as the last one still waiting.
And we truly cannot understand how.
G is the most loyal, goofy, love-filled boy you could ever hope to meet. He doesn’t just want a home — he wants his person. Someone he can attach himself to follow from room to room and curl up beside at the end of the day.
His Personality
• Gentle and kind-natured
• Affectionate and people-focused
• Goofy in the most endearing way
• Eager to please and responsive to training
He has grown up in a busy household with four children under 11, including little ones as young as 1 year old. He is patient, soft and respectful with kids.
Social Superstar
• Dog friendly (currently living happily with a 4kg dog)
• Cat friendly (recently became foster big brother to four kittens and has been beautiful with them)
• Confident but gentle in new social situations
G truly is the full package — kid, cat and dog friendly.
His Ideal Home
G doesn’t need a huge yard or acreage to be happy. He would thrive in:
• A home where he can be part of the family
• A couch he’s allowed to snuggle on
• Someone who wants a loyal companion by their side
He would be just as happy as an only dog soaking up all the attention or joining a home with another friendly dog.
After everything he has been through, G deserves the stability and love of a forever family who will never let him go.
He survived for a reason. Now he’s just waiting for his person to find him.
If you’re looking for a well-rounded, affectionate best friend with a story of resilience and the sweetest nature — G is your boy.

Welcome to Small Paws Animal Rescue QLD.
We aim to place each of our animals with the best family possible.
Our adoption process may seem a little complex, we ask a lot of questions. But there are reasons for this.
1. Our animals in care are like our children.
2. We want to match the best humans with the animals to ensure you are happy and our animals are happy.
3. We don't want animals to come back to us. We want their family to be forever.
So our adoption process begins with an application being completed.
Once we receive the application we will assess it on face value of the answers you have provided.
Once we can determine if you sound like a good fit, we will call you to chat a bit further.
This is when we will schedule a meet and greet with your potential new family member/s.
We may need you to have more than one meet, especially if you have other pet/s that need to be introduced or children and other human family members.
We will confer with our foster carer, and advise you as soon as possible if you were successful in your meet and greet.
Once we have confirmed your success, we will arrange for the paperwork to be completed including the adoption payment.
We allow our foster carers time to say goodbye to their foster babies, it can be hard for some to give them to their new homes and we recognise all the hard work and dedication they have put in to ensure that your new family member has been safe and is ready to go to their forever home.
We will keep in contact with you for 2 weeks during a "trial" adoption period. There are terms and conditions to be met and we will advise you of these.
Once the trial period has ended we will send you the paperwork for your new family member.
At any time after this - if you need assistance you can always contact us.
