About Nocturne
🖤🐾 Meet Nocturne - The (Adorably) Elite Feline Assassin 🐾🖤
Stealth. Precision. Purrs.
Nocturne has mastered all three.
This stunning black beauty may call herself an "assassin," but her missions are far from dangerous - she specializes in taking out toy mice, ambushing unsuspecting feather wands, and eliminating any trace of loneliness in the home.
Nocturne is a hardy, affectionate, all‑round superstar who blends toughness with heart. She's confident, adaptable, and absolutely thrives in the company of other cats - in fact, she might just become the commander of your resident feline squad.
Why she's top of her class:
✨ Fearless toy-hunter with exceptional stealth
✨ Snuggles on her own terms but with full commitment
✨ Gets along brilliantly with other cats
✨ Robust, adaptable, and ready for adventure
✨ A natural leader with a soft Centre
If you're looking for a cat with personality, presence, and purr‑fectly polished "skills," Nocturne is ready to join your household - and perhaps your heart - as your very own lovable little assassin.
Nocturne is available for meet and greets, however is not ready to leave the shelter yet

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
