Emmett

Emmett is a shy little guy who's still learning that the world-and people-can be safe. When you reach out to touch him, he lets out a hiss to let you know he's nervous, but that's as far as it goes. He hasn't shown any other aggression; he's just a scared kitten trying to figure things out.

Emmett arrived at the shelter with his sister, Elle. With patience, gentle voices, and a calm home, we believe Emmett will slowly start to relax and show his true kitten self.

Kittens like Emmett often blossom once they're out of the shelter environment and into a quiet home where they can go at their own pace. Watching a shy kitten learn to trust is incredibly rewarding.

To give Emmett (and hopefully his sister, too) the best chance at finding a loving home, his adoption fee has been waived.

If you have a soft spot for the shy ones and the patience to help a little heart grow braver, Emmett could be the perfect companion for you.
