Crash is the kind of dog who makes friends wherever he goes — with humans and dogs alike.
He is a lovely, friendly boy who genuinely enjoys the company of people and other dogs. The photos that accompany his profile show just how relaxed and sociable he is around his canine mates. He’s the sort of dog who is happy to share space, enjoy a sniff around together and generally be part of the pack.
With people, Crash is an absolute sweetheart. He loves human company and is happiest when he’s near his people, whether that’s joining you on a walk, hanging out in the yard, or relaxing nearby while you go about your day.
He is tolerant of cats indoors, but if they run in the yard he may be tempted to give chase — all part of the game from his point of view.
Crash is also a great little athlete. He enjoys getting out for a walk or a run, and would suit a home where he can stretch his legs regularly and be part of an active routine. Once he’s had his exercise and some attention, he’s more than happy to settle down and enjoy some downtime.
Crash is a friendly, affectionate dog who thrives on companionship. If you’re looking for a loyal mate who enjoys both activity and company, Crash could be just the dog for you.
His ideal home will have someone around most of the time, secure fencing to keep him safe, indoor privileges, an active lifestyle and another dog to be his best mate.

Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Cats:
If you are interested in one of our cats or kittens, please click on the green "Enquire about ...", button, tell us a bit about yourself and the home you can offer the cat, and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
