Hi! I’m Nessie. I might look a little shy at first glance — I like to take a quiet moment to read the room and make sure everything feels safe. But scoop me up and it’s instant purr activation. No buffering. No hesitation. Just full rumble mode engaged. And once that motor starts, the biscuit production begins. Not casual kneading — we’re talking industrial-level bakery commitment. I knead like I’m carb-loading for a marathon.

I’m gentle, affectionate, and once I feel comfortable, I melt right into you. My golden eyes soften, I lean into your hands, and before you know it, I’m your loyal little shadow with a built-in soundtrack.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I do very well with other cats and really enjoy feline company. I’m comfortable sharing space and would happily live with a friendly kitty companion.

I’m untried with dogs but with slow, respectful introductions, we believe I would adjust.

I’m also untried with children. Gentle children who understand I may need a little time at first should be fine. I’m a social girl at heart — I just like introductions done properly.

My PURR-fect home would be a loving home where I can settle in at my own pace and continue building my confidence. I bond deeply and give back tenfold once I feel secure. I would absolutely love access to a secure catio — somewhere I can safely enjoy fresh air, sunshine, and supervise the neighbourhood birds. A catio would take me from happy… to purr-fection.

If you would like to apply to adopt Nessie please come and meet her at Petbarn Canning Vale this Saturday from 10am until 2pm. She will be ready to go home with the first suitable family.
