About Willow
MEET WILLOW 🌷
*SPECIAL HOME NEEDED*
Some of you may remember this beautiful girl from a few months ago when she first came into care after being found in a garden with her six tiny newborn babies. Willow devoted herself entirely to raising them, and one by one they have all found their forever homes. Now, after being such a wonderful mum, it’s finally Willow’s turn to find a loving home of her own.
Because Willow needs a particularly understanding and special home, we’ve reduced her adoption fee to just $50 in hopes it helps her find the peaceful forever home she truly deserves. 💖
Willow is a beautiful, soulful girl with a gentle nature and so much love tucked away, just waiting for the right person to discover it. Despite an uncertain past, she proved herself to be an incredibly devoted and resilient mother. Because of what she’s been through, Willow can be a little wary of new people and may sometimes put on a brave front with a few “false threats” when she feels unsure — simply her way of protecting herself while she learns she’s safe.
During her time in care, Willow has slowly begun to learn that people can be kind. She enjoys gentle pats and brushing, and while she is fine being held from time to time, she currently prefers to keep all four paws on the ground and receive her cuddles from there. It’s just where she feels safest for now.
Willow is very much a true diva and queen at heart, and she would absolutely love to be the one and only ruler of her kingdom. For this reason, she would thrive as the only pet in the home, where she can feel completely secure and in control of her environment. She can be unsure around men, so any male in the household will need to be patient and willing to gently earn her trust over time.
Her perfect home would be a quiet household — perhaps a calm couple or a single person looking for a peaceful companion to share their days with. Willow enjoys the quieter side of life and would do best in a predictable home without young children.
She isn’t much of a playful kitty — Willow prefers lounging around, snoozing her days away, and enjoying her meals. Did we mention she loves food? Because she absolutely does! Food is definitely the way to this girl’s heart, and she has the cuddly figure to prove it. With time, patience, and understanding, Willow has the potential to become a very loving companion. Once she feels safe, settled, and truly understood, her affectionate side will continue to blossom, making her an incredibly special soul to share your life with. 💗

Willow does have a slightly crooked lower jaw. X-rays confirmed there are no broken bones, however there is damage to her mandibular symphysis (the fibrous joint connecting both sides of the lower jaw). This is an old trauma injury that has healed on its own, causes her no pain or discomfort, and is purely cosmetic — just a little quirk that makes her uniquely Willow. 💕
