Hello. My name is Turtle.

Yes, the name suits me very well.

I am one of seven kittens, which means my life has been full of siblings to play with and cuddle up beside. We spend our days chasing balls across the floor, climbing the cat tower like explorers and pouncing on each other when the moment is right. When the games are over we all curl up together and fall asleep in a warm pile.

Even though I enjoy all of that, I am a slightly quieter soul. When something new happens I like to take my time. I watch. I think. I decide when I am ready. My foster family says I really do live up to my name because I come out of my shell slowly.

Once I feel safe though, you will see how sweet I am.

With people I am gentle and kind, but I do appreciate a little patience in the beginning. When strangers visit I might sit back and observe before coming closer. Children are fine for me too, especially if they understand that I may need a little space while I get used to everything.

Dogs are still a bit of a mystery. I have seen one and it did not bother me, but if I were to live with one I would like the introduction to be calm and gradual so we can learn about each other properly.

I enjoy playing just like my brothers and sister. Chasing balls, climbing the cat tower and pouncing during kitten games are all part of a good day. My litter habits are excellent and I do not have any worries or bad habits.

I have even tried wearing a harness, which I accepted quite well. The world seems like a very interesting place when you get the chance to explore it.
