Kobi thrives on his daily walks and enjoys the freedom of running off-lead at an enclosed oval, where he's been known to make a few canine friends. Though he may pull a bit at the start of a walk, he soon settles into a relaxed pace, especially on the way home. His recall is impressive, making him a delight to have on outdoor adventures.

Kobi’s affection and companionship are unmatched. He loves cuddling on the couch and finds comfort in sleeping on the bed at night, providing warmth and company. With visitors at the door, Kobi may initially bark and growl, but his protective nature quickly gives way once he realizes there is no threat. Creating a calm introduction process helps him adjust to new people.

While Kobi has a bossy streak, especially around food, he is receptive to new routines and boundaries. He prefers a home without young children due to his food guarding tendencies but is more than happy to have a doggy friend to engage with. His previous environment allowed certain behaviors that we're working to recondition with patience and training. Night-time routines are improving with positive reinforcement and good habits.

Kobi is protective of his family, which, combined with his genuine heart, can make for a rewarding bond.
