About Cookie SUA014659
Cookie is a gorgeous ball of fluff with a gentle soul and a quiet charm that will slowly but surely win you over. With her beautiful coat and sweet nature, she’s a truly special girl looking for a calm home where she can feel safe and loved.
Cookie will need a little time and patience to settle into her new environment. She likes to take things at her own pace and get to know her people before revealing her true personality. Once she feels comfortable, you’ll discover just how affectionate and sweet she really is.
She has a placid nature and can be a little timid at times, so she appreciates a calm and understanding approach. Cookie isn’t a fan of being picked up and prefers to keep all four paws on the ground, but she’s very happy to share affection in her own way and enjoys gentle companionship.
Cookie must be be your one and only, as she doesn’t get along with other cats or dogs. She would also do best in a household without small children, though a home with respectful teenagers may suit her just fine.
Having never been free-roaming, Cookie will need to remain indoors only for her safety. If you happen to have a secure cat run or enclosed outdoor space, she would absolutely love having a safe place to enjoy some fresh air.
With a little patience and a lot of love, Cookie will blossom into a devoted and affectionate companion.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
