About Pineapple
Pineapple may have been born outdoors in a colony alongside her siblings, Cantaloupe and Watermelon, but she's already showing signs of being the boldest of the trio. With her stunning soft grey coat and bright, watchful eyes, she's as beautiful as she is curious.
While Pineapple is the most outgoing of the three, she's still a kitten who didn't grow up with human socialization. She's brave - but she's cautious. Instead of hiding away, she prefers to perch at a safe distance and observe. She wants to know what you're doing. She just isn't quite sure she's ready to join in yet.
She can be a little flighty with sudden movements or loud noises, but she recovers quickly and is far more likely to stay nearby and supervise than disappear completely. That curiosity is a wonderful foundation to build on.
Pineapple would thrive in a patient home that will continue building her confidence and adopters who understand that trust is earned gently.
With time and consistency, Pineapple has the potential to blossom into a confident, loyal companion. She's already halfway there - she just needs someone to show her that she's safe.
Her adoption fee has been waived, along with her sisters Cantaloupe and Watermelon. We are committed to finding these kittens the loving homes they deserve and hope this helps them start their new chapters sooner.
If you're looking for a beautiful, independent little spirit who just needs a steady hand and a kind heart, Pineapple might be your perfect match.
Pineapple is part of our Rescue or Rehome program, where we are committed to finding homes for cats and kittens who simply cannot cope in the shelter environment. If you can open your heart and home to Pineapple - or if you're a rescue group able to help - please reach out to us at adoptions.cranbourne@dogshome.com
