Meet Cajun 🌶️

Cajun is just such an amazing dog, a lovable goofball, quick learner and adventure buddy all rolled into one.

This handsome boy is a Catahoula X, a breed known for being intelligent, loyal and energetic. Originally bred as working dogs, Catahoulas thrive with structure, guidance and plenty of mental and physical activity ... and Cajun is no exception.

He absolutely loves being with his people, playing and learning new things. In his short time in foster care, he’s already learnt to sit, drop and wait patiently for his food, showing just how clever and eager he is. He has huge potential but will need continued training and a firm, consistent hand to help him grow into his best self.

Like many teenagers, Cajun can be a bit cheeky and at times a little nippy as he continues to learn boundaries, but he responds well to direction and is improving every day. He’s great with other dogs and loves a good play, though his enthusiastic nature may be a bit much for very young kids.

Cajun is an active puppy who will need space to burn energy and a home committed to ongoing training and engagement. He can happily stay alone, but much prefers being with his humans and being part of daily life.
