About Dan
Dan requires the following:
- A home with another playful dog, or his people home often.
- A fully securely fenced yard.
- A home that can maintain Dan's special diet to help with his skin allergy.
- On going training with manners.
- An active lifestyle.
- No kids under 12.
Meet Dan, a classic Staffy with a heart of gold.
This handsome lad is the ultimate "work hard, play hard" companion, living for his ball, beach trips, and wrestling sessions with his foster sister. He is a clever boy who is already fully house-trained and has mastered an impressive list of tricks, including sit, wait, shake, turn around, down, and roll over.
While he takes a little while to warm up to new faces and might bark initially, Dan is incredibly affectionate and playful once he knows you. Because he gets so excited that he likes to jump quite high, he is best suited for a home with no children under 12. He is a fantastic passenger in the car and lives for his daily walks, though he is a strong boy who pulls on the lead and will need continued training to polish his manners.
When out and about, Dan can get excited or sometimes unsure when he sees other dogs on a walk. After a big day of adventuring, he is a world-class napper. During the day, he’ll snooze anywhere—even the middle of the floor—and at night, he likes to share his time between his own bed and the human bed.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home musr attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care or we will assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
