About Nib
Meet Nib, a 4-month-old kelpie girl with a cheeky nature who is bursting with joy and ready to take on the world. Despite a rough start, this resilient girl is living life to the fullest!
Nib full of beans, and confident with new environments and situations. She loves to explore, and takes everything in her stride.
Nib is very smart and super engaged with her human. She’s going to be an amazing student with her training. She loves people and will rush over to visitors for attention.
Although she enjoys a game with other dogs, she is equally happy to take herself off to play by herself with her toys. She is respectful of the older dogs and other animals on the property – after saying a quick hello to the goats and sheep, she has left them be and doesn’t try to chase them or bark at them.
Nib will be an energetic dog who will need plenty of mental and physical stimulation. A couple of walks a day will not be enough for this little firecracker. She is looking for an active family who will make the most of her smarts and drive, allow her inside as part of the family, and include her in all of their adventures.
Her new family must be committed to continuing her exposure to the world and ongoing training to make sure she develops into a well-adjusted dog.
She can go to a home with or without other dogs. She is a mouthy puppy who might be a bit too much for small children.
If you think Nib might be the best mate you’ve been searching for, send us an application with some details about the life you can offer her.
Nib is located in TAS.

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
