Meet Pixie and Frank, an inseparable duo who add an abundance of love and cheer to any home lucky enough to have them. This delightful pair, affectionately known as the Chihuahua/Pom ‘Potatoes’, are quite the adorable match.
Pixie, at nine years old, and Frank, slightly younger at seven, have been desexed, vaccinated, and microchipped, ensuring their health and readiness for a loving new family. With their petite weights at 4.5kgs each, they bring their own kind of quiet companionship and gentle charm to anyone nearby. Although initially shy, Pixie and Frank quickly open up once they share their space and feel the warmth of your home.
While they are friendly with other dogs and have a sociable disposition towards cats, they particularly thrive in a setting with older children who can appreciate their gentle, sweet nature. They get along beautifully with their canine and feline friends and would love to be part of a home where they can share their days with their family. The pair delight in occupying cozy spaces like couches or beds, especially when surrounded by their favourite people.
Pixie and Frank are located in Red Hill and require a standard secure fence to ensure their safety as they wander their future backyard haven. It is also a must that their new family is situated where they can be secure, loved, and cherished just like family.
If you're in search of double the love and twice the joy, Pixie and Frank are the ideal canine companions for you! With an adoption fee of $995, they are eagerly awaiting the next chapter of their sweet, shy life with a family ready to welcome them with open arms.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee (per dog) . This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
