About Delilah
Delightful Delilah š¾ DOB. 19.8.2021, 6.5kg Must have another little dog in residence.
Delilah is a beautiful cream long-haired Dachshund, weight is 6.5kg, She is 4 years and 6 months old and has the softest coat and an even softer heart. Sheās been in care since April 25 and has spent the past two months in foster, where her gentle personality has truly begun to shine.
Delilah is a sensitive little soul who is incredibly intuitive ā she has a special way of reading peopleās moods and will quietly offer comfort when you need it most. Because of her gentle nature, she will thrive in a calm, quiet home without children, where she can feel safe and secure. A home with another calm, confident dog would be ideal, as she gains comfort and reassurance from canine companionship.
Once Delilah learns to trust you, she is deeply loving and devoted. She forms strong bonds and enjoys being close to her person. She is crate trained, appreciates a consistent routine, and will happily settle once she knows sheās home.
And when it comes to food? Letās just say Delilah is a tiny vacuum with four legs š¤£ She absolutely loves her treats and will be very motivated to learn with positive reinforcement.
Delilah is looking for a patient, understanding home with no children that will give her the time she needs to blossom. In return, she will offer loyalty, affection, and the sweetest companionship you could ask for.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
